Look at these beauties. Aren't those plates and marble tables so lovely? Oh but those delicious mouth-watering so visually appealing finger licking LOBSTER ROLLS though right?

On a casual I forgot which day of the week (you know it's summer when you have no clue what day of the week it is and yes, this was before classes had started) , I decided to search up a few places in Montreal that served lobster rolls. Eventually, my friend and I landed on a cute bistro/restaurant near Metro Peel called La Société. We had reserved for dinner prior to arriving but the place was fairly empty that day, though the patio tables were fully booked.

We got greeted right away when we got seated. Overall, the service was great and our waiter was very attentive. We decided to both go with the rolls that had 1/2 lobster, but later on I came to regret this decision as it got me craving for more (there was an option for a full lobster in the roll for about 10$ more). I'd say the prices are pretty reasonable for what it is though they can slightly be on the pricier side depending on what you take.

The rolls are basically just a fancier version of the kind of lobster rolls you would get from foodtrucks, but I had never tried them before. The lobster itself tasted fresh and the fries were delicious. But like I've said, this was not enough to fill me up so we decided to go for dessert too.
Their dessert menu had quite a few options to choose from, but we settled on the "Mille Citron". It is basically a mille-feuille stuffed with lemon icing (or cream?). The first few bites were heaven but as it went on, I started to feel that it was way too sweet. I usually never have an issue with sweet desserts, but I can say this one definitely felt like insta cavities so I wouldn't recommend you eating it by yourself. Also, it is actually bigger than it looks or than any mille-feuille I've ever eaten in fact.

Overall, the atmosphere, food and service were satisfying and I would come back to try out more things from their menu. They also have a brunch menu that looks delicious!

Thanks for reading and have a nice week yall x
