A little trip before drowning in textbooks seemed about right. There we were off, 6 hours on our way to The 6. Upon our arrival, we were dropped off near Eaton Center and as we were walking down the crowded Yonge Street, I could tell the difference in population was already pretty obvious, the streets actually felt way more alive than in Downtown Montreal. Since it was melting hot, we mutually decided (I decided) to stop at this lovely Cafe called Dineen Coffee (and to forcefully drag my boyfriend there), in the heart of Downtown Toronto. The exterior is pretty ordinary, but holy, the patio is simply beautiful and the interior decor is basically the reason why it deserves a blogpost of its own.

The gorgeous patio which was unfortunately too hot to stay at

The interior has a vintage fused with modern look to it with its wooden frames, wall decorations and floor design mixed with marble tables, mason jars and glass displays. The lighting is amazing (for all you fellow instagrammers), it was cozy and there was free WiFi. The staff was pretty friendly and it felt unusual to be served in english right away considering I come from the land of Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart), La Baie (Hudson's Bay), Poulet Frit Kentucky (KFC) and Le Secret de Victoria (Victoria's Secret... lol jk that's not a thing... yet). Anyways, everything looked nice and put together, and definitely tons of pictures worthy.

I took the Medium Iced Latte which was a little more than 4$. I'm no latte expert so I can't be sure how good it's supposed to be, but I definitely enjoyed it since I was really in need of something refreshing to fight the heat and this did the job just right. Also, extra points for how lovely the table where the milk, sugar and other add-ins were on.

Though I would not come here everyday if I lived here (I'd be broke), it is somewhere you should at least stop by once, sit down and just relax.

Thanks for reading & hope you enjoyed the photos xoxo

  1. You look like the person who could mix/match any clothing piece and make it look good. I admire how you have and wear the same piece of clothing, but in ways that make it look different every time. Style me. Please. Lovely blog post btw!

    1. I'd say I'm in a transition state right now haha I used to really love dressing basic and monochrome and still do but lately I've started to be more looking towards pastel colors and statement pieces though I have yet to integrate them in my closet. I still like minimal style alot, but it's more of liking to see it on other people than myself (if that makes sense to you). Sorry if this is not super clear lmao but I can't really give it a name because I just put whatever I feel like looks good together tbh
